Reading and downloads

You can read the journal and download the free PDFs without creating an account or submitting personal information. This website has no email collection form, advertising scripts, or analytics scripts. Fonts and editorial images are served with the website.

Search and copy features

Journal search runs in your browser using the article index. A search can appear in the page URL and your browser history. Copy buttons place the selected link or quotation on your clipboard only when you press them.

Hosting

Vercel hosts this website. The host receives technical information needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address and the requested URL. See Vercel’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

Newsletter and external websites

The newsletter links take you to Substack, where any subscription is managed under Substack’s privacy policy. Book links take you to Amazon. Purchases, newsletter subscriptions, and activity on those websites are handled by their respective providers.

Your choices

Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe option. For a question about the publication, use the Onward Honestly Substack page. For information you have provided directly to an external service, use that service’s account settings and privacy controls.
